June 2014 Companies House are making changes to a number of forms for use from 9 June 2014. Previous versions of these forms will continue to be accepted indefinitely - the changes are mainly rewording of some of the sections to more accurately reflect the legislation, but there are also some form design changes. The revised forms will be updated in Laserform by the effective date.

30 September 2013A number of Share Capital forms have been revised by Companies House as a result of recent legislative changes allowing private companies to place shares into treasury. The forms have been updated accordingly for use from 1 October 2013. Open the LIS Bulletin here for more information.

29 April 2013 As customers will be aware from previous LIS bulletins, a number of new and updated Company and LLP forms were introduced to the catalogue for use from 6 April 2013. These changes were the result of The Companies Act 2006 (Amendment of Part 25) Regulations 2013 which commencing on 6 April 2013, replaced Part 25 of the Companies Act 2006. The Limited Liability Partnerships (Application of Companies Act 2006) (Amendment) Regulations 2013 applied the equivalent changes to limited liability partnerships.

The previous set of forms for registration of company or LLP charges were still required to register charges created before 6 April 2013. Such charges should have been registered within 21 days of creation, and we are therefore now withdrawing the previous range of forms to avoid accidental use. It is recommended that the department or fee earners using these forms are consulted before any forms are removed.

Form bundling:save the AR01 and continuation pages together
If you are preparing an AR01 and one or more continuation pages are required, you can use Laserform's Form Bundling feature to save the AR01 and its continuation pages together as one document. Open the AR01 then select Forms from the menu bar, and then Add Form. You can then pick the relevant continuation page from the forms explorer. Double click to add it to the bundle. Move from one form to the other using the tabs which appear. The Bundle of forms will save as one document. On printing, you can choose whether to print the whole bundle or just the form you are currently in. Access our hints on tips on using form bundling for form AR01. This feature can be used with any forms in Laserform where it is preferable to save more than one form in one file.
