What's New - From 1 July 2015

As a consequence of the Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian (Amendment) Regulations 2015, The Office of the Public Guardian have made changes to the existing Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) forms. The changes enable users to create and register new LPAs on one form, making the registration process easier and simpler for people to ensure their wishes are followed if their mental capacity declines.

The Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian (Amendment) Regulations 2015 was made in March and commences 1 July 2015.

• Add additional forms to create a combined form via links on the pages
• Note that check boxes on these forms should be answered with X rather than a tick mark
